8/24/23 Big progress for looking at my website and seeing things that aren't just placeholders. Not big progress for there being anything to click on when you see those pages though. I figured out how I want to do my Snakeskin stuff though, so the immaterial portion has been largely conquered. That uh, doesn't actually make it finished. Lots to do still but the site looks much better to look at now. Oh! I also added a weather tracker to the FAQ page for folks who hate the rain (couldn't be me) or uh, can't see the site around it...

Free From My Slumber After One Thousand Years
6/7/23 I have been so far afield from working on this site lately that it feels outrageous to be coming back to it now. My perspective is too fresh, I'm considering if I want to keep the current background as the web background, if I want to just release the site before I've even worked on Snakeskin at all, but I want to be here and working on this. I put a date to this update in part to keep me honest, but know it's been months. I just need to get my head on proper, everything wears me down so easily lately and it's been killer to creation. Nevertheless, I'm gonna keep doing my best to be the person I want to be, because that's all I can do.

Tomorrow's Taking More Minutes Than Requisitioned
It's really hard to draw all the art for this site, it turns out. All the trouble from NFT's straight into "AI" popularization lit a fire under me, compelled me to do the work myself- even if the results were lacking. I didn't think it would be easy, but imagined motivation might be more forthcoming. I'm lucky I like drawing backgrounds and objects more than figures, or idk how I would ever do this. I am at least on the right track, aligned in the direction I want even if my ambition grossly overshoots my capabilities. I take heart in the knowledge that most of these images will be scarcely observed, since I'm going to fill this site with writing; and take heart in knowing I bore these fruits myself.

Tomorrow I'll Be Perfect
Website exists! I've done a lot of work so far, so this is just a little way to kick it off and get myself in gear for updating not just the site, but my personal progress here. I won't do RSS compatibility until I actually have things to start talking about, so for now I'm just posting to myself. But, this is very exciting! I've finished the first banner image, a little FAQ, a lot of work on making the site look how I want in terms of design and posting. I like this a lot, and hopefully I can carry that momentum forward beyond the website. Hell, I'd like to carry this momentum through the rest of the website too, for that matter, there's a lot left to do...
